Hello, November!

The last month of autumn and leaves falling before winter arrives. November is the month that reminds me to be thankful for the many positive blessings in my life. Health, happiness, financial security, friends, and most importantly family, who loves me unconditionally, are things that I am most thankful for. The support and fellowship that MMaH offers to its members amazes me every day. MMaH is a blessing to my family and hopefully many of your families as well and for that I am thankful! What are you thankful for this month?

This month, our Monthly Membership meeting will be held at MUMC, in the social hall, on Friday, November 13th, at 9:30am. Pastor Sarah had an emergency last month and was unable to attend, so she will be stopping by to introduce herself this month. She will also be discussing the importance and benefits of reading aloud to your children, as well as a general faith speech. I hope to see many of you there.

As the holiday season approaches, we are partnering with Frederick County Infants and Toddlers to adopt a family this holiday season. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to those in our community who might not otherwise have a reason to celebrate the upcoming holidays. Kerry and Christa will be providing more details about this service project (see BigTent announcements) and a sign-up will be posted on BigTent soon.

Our annual Thanksgiving MNO will be on Thursday, November 19th, at Lacey’s house. Thank you, Lacey! This is a chance to spend quality time with each other to celebrate all that we are thankful for while enjoying delicious food. Join in our MMaH tradition, RSVP under events!

Among our calendar filled with activities this month, we will be hosting a Thanksgiving Party for the kids! Join us on Friday, November 20th, at 9:30am, in the social hall at MUMC to make Thanksgiving placemats. We will also enjoy some of the traditional Thanksgiving foods, child-sized.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving season!
